How our gift vouchers work
Gift vouchers are available in a range of dollar values, allowing you to choose the amount you’d like to give.
The recipient can then use the voucher towards any Big Sky Helicopters scenic flight or experience. If the value of their chosen flight is greater than the gift voucher, they can simply pay the remaining balance when booking.
Important Information

How long are gift vouchers valid?
Gift vouchers are valid for three years from the date of purchase.
Can I choose the value of the gift voucher?
Yes. Gift vouchers are available in a range of dollar values, allowing you to choose the amount you’d like to give.
Can the recipient choose their own flight?
Yes. Gift vouchers can be used towards any Big Sky Helicopters scenic flight or experience, allowing the recipient to choose the option that best suits them. If their chosen flight costs more than the voucher value, they simply pay the remaining balance when booking.
How many people can fly?
Scenic flights require a minimum booking of two passengers. Our helicopter can carry up to three passengers.
What happens if the weather isn’t suitable?
Safety always comes first. If weather conditions are unsuitable, we’ll contact the booking holder and arrange another suitable date.
How will I receive the gift voucher?
Gift vouchers are delivered by email, making them ideal for last-minute gifts or sending directly to the recipient.

- Big Sky Helicopters private helipad in Hazelwood North. An easy 15 minute drive from Traralgon, Morwell or the freeway.
- The departure location address will be included with your booking confirmation email.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure to complete paperwork, be weighed, and attend the pre-flight safety briefing.
All passengers must present a valid photo ID at check‑in.
Complimentary parking is available at our departure location.

- Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather on the day.
- Enclosed toe, non-slip footwear is recommended.
- Sunglasses, sunscreen and a cap.
- Camera or phone to take photos of your experience.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Steps may be required to enter the helicopter. Passengers must be able to safely board and exit the aircraft with minimal assistance.
- Please let us know in advance of any mobility issues or medical conditions so we can accommodate you where possible.
Pregnant passengers in the third trimester should consult their doctor before flying.
Not recommended for passengers with severe motion sickness, heart conditions, recent surgery, or vertigo.
Space is limited; no large bags or bulky items are permitted onboard.
Smoking and alcohol is not permitted on board.
Weight and size limits apply for safety reasons - maximum passenger weight is 120kg.
Please provide current passenger weights when booking, passengers may be weighed as part of the check-in process.

- Event tickets, meals, and ground transportation are not included unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations
Customers will receive a full refund or credit within 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or enquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
